About
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a film and television producer? This introductory course on film production is perfect for you! Production is the cornerstone of any audiovisual project. Consequently, the producer is the most vital figure in both the production process and the final audiovisual product. At the MFILMS Academy, you will learn the importance of the producer's role and how to create a product that can influence your culture and society. Throughout this course, you will gain an understanding of a film producer's responsibilities at every stage of audiovisual production. You will be introduced to audiovisual production using a feature film as an example—covering everything from the initial concept, scriptwriting, and development to creating a sales package, hiring crew, pre-production, filming, post-production, and finally, the exhibition and commercial exploitation of the finished product. You will explore key topics such as audiovisual production management, legal and accounting processes, balancing revenue and costs, hiring personnel, and reviewing the services needed to effectively manage the production and its resources—all while keeping the generation of economic profit in mind. This work applies regardless of the intended format (short film, feature film, documentary, series, TV episode, music video, or commercial). Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of achievement. At the MFILMS Academy, we share our experience with production formats from the United States, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia, enabling participants to access a broader professional market with a high level of knowledge.
